Team SyncopateThoryn Stephens is the founder of Syncopate. He is an expert facilitator, music producer, entrepreneur and scientist. In 2004 he left his role as a cell biologist in pharmaceutical drug development to follow his passion for music. He then founded Syncopate, an interactive team building company that utilizes music as a unique and innovative solution for corporate training. Stephens designed the foundation of Syncopate¹s platform, the Perfect Pitch Methodology, based on experiential learning using music, and has built a Fortune 500 client base including Yahoo!, Google, and The Gap. His achievements have been featured in The New York Times, The San Francisco Chronicle and local broadcast stations. Due to his expertise in digital media, Thoryn has also guest lectured at the University of California, Berkeley. A Northern Californian native, Thoryn received a B.S. in biotechnology with a specialization in biochemistry and music theory from the University of Kentucky. Taslim Tagore is Vice President of Business Development for Syncopate. She draws from over 10 years of experience in public speaking and facilitation, strategy consulting with the Boston Consulting Group, investment banking and entrepreneurship. Tagore has worked with a broad range of media and entertainment companies, helping them make strategic acquisitions, divestitures and secure financing. She is also a playwright, theater director and published author. Tagore holds an MBA from the Harvard Business School. Prayer has worked with both small businesses and major corporations like Oracle and General Electric, giving him a broad perspective on business requirements and interpersonal relationships. He holds a B.S. in electrical engineering from Duke University and an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley. He received his coaching instruction from the Coaches Training Institute. |
